The aim of hearings is the analysis of state policy implementation of creating favourable conditions for the development of fully functional information society and information technologies as constituents of an integral national policy in the sphere of development and use of innovation and high technology, elaboration and adoption of respective recommendations of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The Chairman of the Committee suggested support the initiative of the International non-governmental organization "European Media Platform" to hold the Second International Forum “Media for information society” and to organize this event within the preparation for the parliamentarian hearings.
The Committee members unanimously supported this initiative.
